I was born in Tehran, Iran but i grew up in a small city near Cologne in Germany after my parents left Iran due to the Islamic Revolution.

My first contact with photography came actually pretty late as I got my first digital camera at the age of 20 merely to capture the final days and weeks of school, because me and my friends were heading to our final exams. After leaving school I finished my alternative service at an institution for handicapped and mentally ill people and began to study german, english and ethnology at the university of cologne.

But pretty soon my interest into photography got bigger and bigger until i finally decided to completely focus on the art.

Right now i am learning and working in an advertising agency in order to get my certification as a media operator in the field of digital media. Throughout the work in the agency I am able to combine my interest into photography and modern media. Besides that I am always looking for new challenges in order to improve my skills and to broaden my photographic field of work.
