this one is played on heavy rotation right now… actually i nearly forgot how incredible this peace of hip hop history sounded to me when i first heard it… but as it is with such classics they are always relevant and you’ll always find stuff on your mind you can relate to the music and the lyrics!

critically acclaimed rapper and member of the legendary gang starr guru passed away after a long fight against cancer. his voice, his lyrics and his whole attitude towards the business and life itself made him a real advocate to real and true hip hop. he and dj premier created music that, after all this years, still defines hip hop and that stand up tall against the sell out through the business. furthermore he is the founder off the genre hip hop jazz defined through his legendary records jazzmatazz volume 1 to 4 in which he and several jazz artists formed a experimental fusion between hip hop and jazz. his legacy will live on through his music!

i know it’s kind of late but i just heard yesterday that one of the greatest and most gifted producers out there passed aways due to a fatal car accident… it’s really a shame cause nujabes sound is really one of a kind and his melodies just go straight under your skin. may he rest in peace and make some dope beats with j dilla up there. that is one of my favorite tracks which has its place in my top favorites of all time

everyone who knows me knows that i am a very big wu-tang clan fan! i can not even count how many times i listened to the old wu-tang clan stuff anymore. and one of the reasons i got so addicted to the music was gza the genius and his liquid sword album. just take a look at the interview and pay attention to the guy at the end who is called to come on the stage, his explanation for why he is so into that music is the best way to describe it
